Faisalabad will host ODI matches in 17 years
Pakistan’s Faisalabad will host ODI matches in 17 years, as there has been no ODI match since 2008. The South Africa tour of Pakistan 2025 is set for October and November 2025. Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad ODIs 2025 are going to be the best contests as Faisalabad will host ODI matches in 17 years. South Africa will contest eight matches of three formats against Pakistan on this tour. The Pakistan cricket team had played the ODI match against Bangladesh on 11 April 2008 at this venue.
Pakistan vs South Africa Test series 2025
South Africa had played a Test series against Pakistan as visitors in 2021, and they lost this series 2-0. Pakistan will start their journey in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-2027 against South Africa in this series. The first Test on 12 October at Lahore will be the start of the South Africa tour of Pakistan 2025. South Africa will play the second Test on 20 October against the hosts at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan vs South Africa T20Is series 2025
Pakistan will start the T20I series on 28 October 2025 against South Africa at Rawalpindi. The remaining two contests will be played at Lahore. In December 2024, Pakistan played their last T20I series against South Africa, where they lost the series 2-0.
Pakistan vs South Africa ODIs series 2025
Pakistan will play all matches of the ODI series in November at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium has hosted various international contests which including 16 ODIs. This venue will host its 17th ODI on 4 November after 17 years, as its first ODI was also played in November. Pakistan played the first ODI match at this venue against New Zealand in 1984.
