Joe Root has completed the fastest 13000 runs in Tests while playing against Zimbabwe, the only Test match at Trent Bridge on 22 May 2025. The star English player and ex-captain has achieved this milestone of fastest 13000 runs in just 153 Test matches. Joe Root 13000 Test runs have made him the only player from England who has achieved this feat. By completing 13000 runs, he has etched his name as the 5th highest run-scorer in the history of Test cricket. By doing so, Joe Root has entered the group of Test cricket legends, Sachin Tendulkar, JH Kallis, RT Ponting, and Rahul Dravid, who scored more than 13000 runs in Test cricket.
